Welcome to the DHSM Community! Where homeschool myths are debunked and homeschool questions are answered. Questions and general topics from different angles about homeschooling will be discussed as well as other education topics as they relate to the latest in educational best practices in general education outside of the home. In addition, relevant and real topics on parenting, being a teacher and a parent, stress management, self-care, preventing burnout and a plethora of other ideas will be shared. As a licensed teacher turned homeschool mom, I am able to speak fairly and non-biased about both sides of the spectrum. There is no right or wrong, simply whatever works best for you and your family.
